Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Oklahoma City, located on the North Canadian River, is the state capital, and the largest city in Oklahoma. Oil production was Oklahoma City's main industry for much of the twentieth century. The city's economic base has become more diversified since the oil boom. Today, Oklahoma City is a center for pharmaceutical and biomedical research, producing new products, treatments and medications for a variety of conditions, and which must go be evaluated during clinical trials.
